FIRSTLY a rather belated Happy New Year to all owners and Members of the Friends Group.

A very big THANK YOU to all the kind people who have not only paid the 2019 subs but to the many of you who have included donations to Rescue Funds as well.  If you have not received a phoned, emailed or written Thank You, my apologies.  I stupidly tripped over the paving slabs in the garden a week before Christmas and hurt my right shoulder, being right handed, this has presented a big problem as it is very painful to use my right hand and some things I cannot do at all. Using the keyboard is, after a short time, very painful and this is the reason I have not been in touch.  Rescue has been quite busy and unfortunately the majority of the dogs coming into our care are young, untrainned and unruly large boys.  These fellows need just the right homes and are not suitable for everyone, but will, with the right people and with the right trainning, make wonderful friends and companions.  Please don't forget to send in your pictures for the 2020 Calendar- must be in landscape format, no people but other animals with your dog is O.K.  Should be in by the beginning of May.
